Our Story

In 2020, with the arrival of the coronavirus, we all ate at home, and only the delivery services moved the food chain. Since then, we have been happy to offer our MG burger. Imagine a burger made from fresh Asado and beef breast, with toppings of goose breast and avocado, barbecue Asado, fried green tomato, and more. And most importantly – our French fries. Melting potato rectangles wrapped in crispy polenta. Hungry? Order at home or come eat during your lunch break.

Our Story

In 2008 I, Chef Marcus Gershkovitz, and Chef Erez Margi opened Angelica. Our aim was to create a culinary experience that overcomes the challenges of the kosher kitchen and provides atmosphere, food, and wine of a standard to satisfy our customers to the highest degree. We initially opened the restaurant on Shatz St. which provided the inspiration for its name. Angelica is known as the “lost” daughter of Boris Shatz, founder of the Bezalel Art School.

Angelica was an artist who was highly talented, vibrant, and complex and provided the expression and inspiration behind our restaurant's concept. The same expression stayed with us as we moved to Washington St. and continues to define our culinary experience to this day.

We look forward to hosting you!

Menu

Our Menu at Angelica is based on the finest and freshest ingredients. We incorporate culinary language from different regions all based upon French cooking methods . Texture, exciting flavor combinations, and aesthetics are our foundation.

Wine Menu

The wine selection at Angelica has always been an integral part of our culinary experience. The menu emphasizes local wineries and includes collections from over twenty wineries, and more than one hundred and fifty different wines. Together, our in-house Sommelier and Chef, select each bottle meticulously in order that our wine and food complement one another.

Ask our Sommelier for recommendations based on your personal preferences and choice of food.

Alcoholic beverages, including wine, cannot be brought into the restaurant
